Like always I will start with saying sorry for my inactivity. A lot has happened in the past few months and my life has completely changed (for the good, so I’m not complaining).
However, I did work on a lot of projects regarding my Instagram page, one of the most exciting ones was a collaboration with H&M. I got asked to be one of the Dutch faces for the Studio SS18 collection. It’s always a big honor to be asked by a big brand like H&M, to me it shows that social media strategies are shifting. Nowadays the number of followers is becoming less important, engagement & quality, that’s important. I am very happy to see this shift, it gives a lot of people more opportunities.
I personally loved this specific collection, to give you a little background information: the collection is inspired by the city ambiance of Tokyo and the traditions of the Japanese culture. They combined minimalistic shapes with bold colours and abstract prints.
The styles differ a bit from my usual day to day outfits, but it was very fun to see how the stylist styled me & how the outfits came to life. Below you can find some of the the campaign shots.
